Apparently, rubbing their faces on the floor wouldn’t do any good because your puppy will still go around pooping and peeing the house. And even if you show them that it’s bad to do it, they will still find time to do some massive chaos.
You will become angry at first, but believe me, once you stay calm and not blow things out of proportion, you will find it easier to train your puppy to master the toilet like it masters digging up holes in the backyard, which is also an issue you need to fix.
For the meantime, do not let your emotions run wild and vent all your frustrations on the pup. Always remember potty training also counts as your training in self-discipline.
